MERRY CHRISTMAS

We spent Christmas Eve at Mike's Dads.
It's always a good time with his fam.
We had wonderful Korean food.
aaahh I'm dreaming of it now!
We tried taking about 10 pictures and they all turned out hilarious.
So I put the best looking one of us up. Ha!

Christmas Morning!!
Bridger woke up early and we could not wake Foster up for the life of ourselves!!
I let Bridger open 1 present, but the anticipation was killing him!!
So, finally at 9 I pulled Foster out of bed and i was only able to wake him up with bribeing him with candy..

What a fun morning we had..
The presents were shredded open in 1 minute and then it was a lot of play!

It was so fun having Erin and James spend Christmas morning with us.

Foster's big surprise!
This has been the only thing he has asked for,
other then a Birthday Cake!
I think this will be some great entertainmet to come.
As long as we can go without anyone getting hurt.

Lounging on Uncle James, enjoying Toy Story 3.

WYOMING

We then headed to Wyoming to spend with my fam.

My favorite times are when the boys play/wrestle together..

And this is where Bridger spent most of his time!!
With his Grandma who had knee replacement surgery a couple days before Christmas.
Honestly the whole week he layed with her...
Giving her kisses, watching a lot of movies, and just giving her love.
He has always had a special bond with my Mom that I have never seen with anyone else.
He just adores her!
Foster wanted to be here on 4 wheeler with Papa!
It was -20 degrees while we were there..
Insane! But so darn Beautiful!
The boys love climbing up on the hay in the barn.
Some good entertainment!

We did some of this

Nose hair frozen- check!
The guys spooned on the tube

Uncle Eric is a great guy..
Who the kids are drawn too.

Fed the horses some Christmas treats

Tag and the horses

Now meet Jack the horse..
Who can be a pain in the A
He runs from everyone that goes out to catch him.
We usually have to let him run for about 20 minutes before he calms down to be caught and we have him cornered.
Well we were out petting the horses, and Bridger runs right up to him and just starts petting him and Jack doesn't move a muscle!
It was a miracle!!!!
Bridger stood and pet him for about a half hour and Jack never moved and you could tell with his demeanor that he was really enjoying the pets and love.
It shocked us all!!

Wintertime Fun!

ZOOLIGHTS
We all had a lot fun at Zoo Lights

We saw Santa's Reindeer and Bridger told us he heard Santa's Sleigh Flying off..

Fun Times
in
the Snow
Bernie loves catching snowballs.

The boys LOVE our neighbors.
Foster and Bridger LOVE Emme..
She is a wonderful babysitter.
Bridger tells me all the time that Mike and I should go somewhere,
so Emme can come over.

Parker Christmas Party!

Every year we have a huge party with all the Parker fam.
It is always good times with great people!
This year we played win it in a minute!
It was great.
This challenge was to shake your booty to get the balls out of the box.
Bridger won!
This one was to put vaseline on your nose and put a string in your mouth with a cotton ball. You have to get the cotton ball onto the vaseline. Kinda gross, but hilarious.

The next one was to put a cookie on your head and work it down your face without touching it and get it in your mouth.
I won.. I was told I looked like a pig..Sweet!

Next was to pick up as many candy canes as you could with one in your mouth.
Curtis won!

Then we have the crazy gift exchange..

We did the nativity this year.. It was really fun.
THis is Mary, baby Jesus, Star(Foster was the star, but he ate it), and Joesph

All the beautiful Angels!!

Wisemen and Shepards
It was a really neat way to remember why we celebrate Christmas,
and it made us giggle a lot too.

Bridger's Christmas Program

Bridger had his 1st preschool Christmas Program.
Oh how entertaining it was!!
We watched 2 boys punch each other,
a couple running all over like crazy,
and some getting so into the songs and dancing all over..
and then there was cute little Bridger.
He had a speaking part.
It was:
B is for boxes with ribbons and bows, and boots that we wear to keep warm in the snow.
He did an excellent job!

He is definitely our shy boy..
But he has been looking forward to this Christmas program for weeks.
We have been practicing the songs and his speaking part too.
This kid just melts my heart..

Here is a concerned look he did a little bit during the program..

During the rudolph song

There is his cute smile...
oh i just love it!
Everytime he would catch eyes with Tagen or me he would get this big grin!
Here he is with all his class and the younger class with his cute teacher
Mrs. Kristen!

Aunt Tagen and Uncle Eric came and supported Bridger
It really meant a lot to him..
He just loves these guys!
and His Great Papa and Gramma that he just loves!

Catch Up!

I'm so Behind on this stinkin blog! I feel like life is always crazy that there is never(very rare) a moment of silence to write in this darn thing. This is my only journal/scrapbook that I have for my family. So I'm trying to stay up on it. So, here it goes!

Thanksgiving 2010

We headed down South to Grandma Shari's(Mike's Mom's) and Vernon's house for Thanksgiving.
We had a delicious dinner, and mainly it was really great spending time with everyone.
The Boys had fun going on a walk and seeing some buffalo and playing in the snow.

FUN RANDOM STUFF
i look forward everyday to seeing what costumes will come about.

Foster moved EVERYTHING in the toy room to one corner, so he could have a fort!
He was so proud of himself..

Bridger went through a phase where he was obsessed with layering. At one time he layered 10 shirts. This time he layered all his beanies.

Tape has been wonderful entertainment this winter season..
Bridger came up with this invention on hanging his tape all over everywhere, and sticking whatever he can find on it. It has entertained him for hours!

Bridger has been really into learning all the Bible stories.
He especially loves the story of Samuel the Lamanite.

The flying boat, is a nightly activity in our house.
(Fost is in the blanket)

We got the boys to dress up and act out some stories.
It was really funny..

Here's more tape fun!

We have had some amazing sunsets lately!

I don't know how we started this.. but Mike was doing the running of the bulls with the kids.. They would run back and forth through the batman cape and yell, "Ole"..
Bernie got so excited and started doing it too.. I was pretty hilarious.

These boys are so lucky to have such a fun Dad.
Everynight the boys look forward to when dad gets home so they can do there crazy wrestling matches.
Bridger and Bernie are inseperable.

I know this is really old, but i had to post it!
It was our last hike for this year up Fernwood with some friends.
i love how goofy little boys are!
My boys and i are so happy to have such fun friends.
Bridger wore his sweet spidey lace cape and his tight Robin costume..
It gave us all a good laugh.
i love this cute little/chubby Mason!

The cute Girly's..
I somehow didn't get a pic of cute Jake.

5 SECONDS!

That's all it takes..

Here's our latest crazy story in the Ostrander Fam..

We were at Home Depot last night and we were looking at paint samples. Foster was standing right by me with his spiderman and elephant. I turned around to look at the paint sample and 5 seconds later i turned back around and Foster was gone! I looked down the isle and he was no where to be found! I yelled over to Mike that i can't find Foster and we both start searching the isles.. I checked all the isles we were by, and then I automatically ran to the front to make sure he didn't go out the front door, and to tell the front desk lady to annouce it on the intercom, and to lock the doors.(that has always been my worst fear that someone will kidnap my kids and take off out the front doors before i realized) I became super frantic, i was crying, and running all over the place. I had all these nice people asking me what's wrong and so I told them I was looking for my little 2 year blond boy, who's wearing a blue sweatshirt.. They all started searching as well. I felt completly lost, and i was running like a crazy person up and down the isles.(Mike was on the other side of the store doing the same thing with Bridger in the cart) Home depot is huge and the isles are super long and tall, and there is scary stuff in all of them.. i said a silent prayer .. 10 minutes has passed now, which seemed like 5 hours!!

I ran back to the paint area again and a lady from our ward came out running with our blond little Foster. I just grabbed him and held him so tight. She said he was hiding back on a shelf in the middle behind the paint. She was looking around and could hear some singing and talking.. Foster was just enjoying some quiet time hanging out taking a poop!

I'm pretty sure losing a child is the worst feeling. I felt like a horrible Mom for losing focus on him and for not keeping him in the cart.. I have learned my lesson, and hopefully he has too, by seeing his crazy, hysterical mom lose it in front of the whole Home Depot store!
